Mark is responsible for quality assurance testing, completing user acceptance, usability and other types of black box testing for newly developed software enhancements. This well help ensure that business requirements are met, and the system makes sense from a user perspective before enhancements are moved to production. Mark has a passion for learning new technologies and seeing them implemented effectively.
Before joining Benningfield Group, Mark has spent the last five years working in education in a variety of roles, which include braille transcriptionist, instructional assistant, and paraeducator. He worked both in the classroom with students and behind the scenes preparing and adapting curriculum to make it accessible to students according to their needs. He enjoys helping others to learn and grow, and to make effective use of the many resources available to them in the process. Mark has also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theology/Missions from Barclay College in Kansas.
After spending nine years in Kansas while seeking a degree and starting a family, he now resides in Sacramento with his wife and four children. He spends his free time pursuing hobbies such as 3D printing, learning programming, music, and spends the rest of the time with family.
