Senior Marketing Manager
John is a product strategist and marketer with proven experience in identifying market opportunities and the competitive landscape. His specialties include writing for social, technical and internal audiences, preparing deliverables to clients and employers, and teaching/training. His current focus is translating our business development vision for the company into reality, which includes launching a major omnichannel campaign to drive awareness of Benningfield Group.
Before joining Benningfield Group, he spent a decade teaching product branding and multiplatform storytelling at The School of Communications and Media Technologies at San Francisco’s Academy of Art University, the nation’s largest private art and design school. Prior to that, his professional life has spanned careers in radio broadcasting, concert promotion, and event marketing.
In his spare time, John is pitching his third book to major publishers, creating a podcast, and continuing to raise funds to record and distribute his debut solo album. He also plays rhythm guitar in two bands: Dad’s Impala and The Causeway. He currently lives in Folsom with his wife Cyndi and their two children, Natalie and Wyatt.
